Blackhawk pantryThe Big Idea is a program that may offer meat, fruits and vegetables, refrigerated and frozen items and/or dry goods along with other community resources. The next Big Idea giveaway will be Sept. 24 from 4:30-5:30 PM. Please bring bags to take food home. Additionally, the Blackhawk Closet will be set up with all sizes of clothing, shoes, coats, hygiene and cleaning products The Blackhawk Closet will also be accepting donations. Please park by and enter door #7. All families with a child in Cowan Schools are welcome.  

 

College Go! Week 2026: Cowan will be participating in a statewide initiative called College Go! Week September 21st-25th.  It is never too early to start thinking about the future! We will be doing some fun things this week to get excited about different career and education options, including dress-up days, which are listed below.
