The Cowan Elementary Canned Food Drive Contest started November 17 and ends December 15. All donated food will be supporting the Cowan Elementary Food Pantry. Thanks go out to the 5th/6th grade Student Council for organizing this drive.
Toys for Tots delivers hope to children at Christmastime and beyond. Please help our Title I team make their Toys for Tots community service project a success. We are collecting donations now! You can help by donating new or gently used unwrapped children's toys by December 15. Thank you for helping!
The Big Idea is a program that may offer meat, fruits and vegetables, refrigerated and frozen items and/or dry goods along with other community resources. The next Big Idea giveaway will be December 18 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Please bring bags to take food home. Please park by and enter door #7. All families with a child in Cowan Schools are welcome.
The Children’s Clothing Center of Delaware County, Inc., offers new and used clothing to Delaware County students in need. If you are interested, please contact the elementary office for a referral from the principal. The referral can then be completed and taken to the center. Hours of operation are listed on the referral form.
Athletic Alert: Junior high wrestling will begin on December 1, 2025. Girls 5/6 basketball will begin on 1/6/2025. If you are planning to participate in any of these sports, you must have a current IHSAA physical on file. Athletic physical forms are available in the office.
