The Big Idea is a program that may offer meat, fruits and vegetables, refrigerated and frozen items and/or dry goods along with other community resources. The next Big Idea giveaway will be April 23 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Please bring bags to take food home. Additionally, the Blackhawk Closet will be set up with all sizes of clothing, shoes, coats, hygiene and cleaning products The Blackhawk Closet will also be accepting donations. Please park by and enter door #7. All families with a child in Cowan Schools are welcome.  

 

The Children’s Clothing Center of Delaware County, Inc., offers new and used clothing to Delaware County students in need. If you are interested, please contact the elementary office for a referral from the principal. The referral can then be completed and taken to the center. Hours of operation are listed on the referral form.

 

Attention Transfer Students: 2026-2027 Transfer Forms are located on the school website and must be completed by every transfer student each year. Please be sure to visit cowan.k12.in.us to complete the digital form or to download a printable form. Forms are also available in the school office.
