Explain character analysis/comparison between Arthur Miller's play The Crucible and the movie The Crucible;  decide which of the four main characters--John Proctor, Abigail Williams, Rev. Parris, and Rev. Hale--you wish to observe & examine; pay close attention to the stage directions and the dramatic exposition as to how Miller sees these characters and then take notes as to similarities/differences you notice while watching the movie;  students will write a 2-page paper over this comparison/analysis when we return from Spring Break.
